The Eurovision Song Contest Was Traditionally a Campy Joy – But It Has Evolved Into a Calculated Tool to Sanitize Conflict.

Officials rejects these allegations, consistent with how it denies each claim it is implicated in. The Pageant Proceeds Amidst Staggering Tragedy

The contest reaches its seventieth anniversary next year – nearly twice the current lifespan of a person in Gaza today. The broadcast will air, but it will likely never recapture the pure, unadulterated fun it was formerly known for. A contest that was originally built on togetherness has devolved into a transparent instrument to provide a cultural veneer for conflict.
